📖 How to Use
🎯 Getting Started
This tool converts text into visual USART/UART bit-streams showing exactly what you'd see on an oscilloscope. Perfect for debugging serial communication and verifying register-level code.
📝 Input Text
- Type any text string (e.g., "Hello", "AT+CMD")
- Each character is transmitted as a separate frame
- See ASCII codes and binary representation for each character
⚙️ UART Configuration
- Baud Rate: Transmission speed (9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 bps)
- Data Bits: Number of data bits per frame (5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 bits)
- Parity: Error checking (None, Even, or Odd)
- Stop Bits: Frame termination (1, 1.5, or 2 bits)
📊 Visual Output
- Timing Diagram: Shows HIGH/LOW signal states over time
- Frame Structure: Clearly labels Start, Data, Parity, and Stop bits
- Bit Timing: Displays actual bit duration based on baud rate
- Hover Info: Hover over bits to see detailed timing information
💻 C Code Generator
- Generates register-level initialization code for AVR/Arduino
- Shows UBRR calculation for baud rate
- Includes frame format configuration (UCSRnC register)
- Ready to copy and paste into your embedded project
